Carefully designed with today’s interiors in mind, the Design Discoveries collection sees Brintons Agnella and the V&A, the world’s leading museum of art, design and performance collaborate to produce a beautiful range of 17 rugs in contemporary colourways designed to add pattern, texture and warmth into your home.

The trend for bringing the outside inside shows no sign of slowing down and is continuing to influence design choices within our homes. The Design Discoveries collection features many classic and contemporary florals that will instantly transport you into a world of nature.

The delicate bell-shaped lily of the valley design of the Mawson rug is perfectly complemented with a palette of contemporary blues and whites whilst the large-scale monochrome illustrative flowers in Talwin and Botany create the perfect statement pieces.

The contemporary, unique floral pattern of Moderne is brought to life with subtle, soft, flecky colours, characteristic of the 100% undyed natural wool blend that has been used to weave it

Classic and understated, neutrals bring a sense of calm and serenity to your home whilst offering a great opportunity to experiment with shape, texture and sculptural forms to bring the trend to life. Manhattan is woven using the cut and loop technique which creates a three dimensional appearance, perfect for adding interest and texture to a natural colour scheme.

Designed in a contemporary monochrome palette, graphite and polar white, Masi rug is expertly hand-carved to fully accentuate the strong graphic pattern and create a unique surface to the rug.

The bold, beautiful pattern of Marash is interpreted in two colourways, to create very different looks. Strong jewel-like reds and blues will add a touch of luxury and grandeur to your home, whilst classic beige is as relevant today in our homes as it's always been.

The Design Discoveries collection draws on a multitude of artistic influences collected by the V&A since its inception in 1852. The collection has been created by carefully choosing historical textiles and wallpapers from the V&A's archives, from tapa cloths and Art Deco prints, to an Arts and Crafts design by Sidney Mawson.
